What is a Hackathon?

A 12 Hour Hackathon is an event where an individual or team builds something cool and creative with code– whether it be a website, app, robot or game.

Though it is a competition, the goal the event is to encourage people and support the hacking community.

Throughout the day there will be awesome workshops for beginners to learn programming and fun activities for you to meet new people.

Whether you're a seasoned hackathon veteran or have never been to a hackathon before, you are welcome to ASC Hacks.

This Hackathon is completely free. The goal of the event is to unite the local high school hacker community and introduce new people to this growing community and reunite old hacking friends.
